Farrah Farley

My registered 200 hour certification in teaching adults yoga, and certificates in teaching children and adolescents, including those with diverse abilities, special needs and autism, allows me to teach mindful movement both virtually through remote online classes and in-person.

Since 2016, I taught Mindful Movement to children and families at Harlem Yoga Studio and with the NYC-based nonprofit Under Our Umbrella. In Spring of 2017, I deepened my Ayurveda practice at the Udayagiri Retreat Center in Kerala, India where I taught vinyasa, learned the martial art Kalari, and meditated daily. In 2018, I followed my heart and moved (back) to the Lonestar state where I taught children (preK-3rd grade) yoga at Houston’s Independent School District’s first Arabic Immersion Magnet School. At that moment, I decided to deepen my understanding of kids yoga and completed my 95-hour RCYT with Yogiños: Yoga for Youth® in 2019. I have taught yoga at the Post Oak School, Westside Montessori School, Yogaleena, Yoga Pod, Peace Camp, Extraordinary Abilities, at Thera Kids with founder Lori Gross, and managed the yoga program at the fitness club O Athletik in Houston, TX. Currently, I am living with the love of my life in Austin, Texas, and teaching my passion online..

With a Master’s in Global Policy from LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT Austin and a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, I have a foundation in diplomacy and understanding working with the public and so decided to pursue a discipline in teaching mindfulness and yoga.
