Recommended Books

This list of books corresponds with Weeks 1-16 of MOSST (Mindful and OHMazing Strategies for Students and Teachers) PreSchool and Elementary levels of our on-demand curriculum that integrates mindfulness, movement, neuroscience and social justice all in one place. This intentionally curated list features diverse authors, illustrators, and characters. These developmentally appropriate books also integrate social justice narratives around race, physical and cognitive abilities, cultural stories, and sexual identity, to name a few. In selecting the books, we cooperate with The Conscious Kid organization.
