Yin and Restorative Yoga for Kids and Teens
One-Day Training for Educators, Therapists, Parents and Youth-Focused Professionals
A different kind of calm for a fast-moving world
Children and teens today are often overwhelmed, overstimulated, and disconnected from their bodies. Yin and restorative yoga offer a powerful counterbalance—inviting stillness, deep rest, and nervous system regulation in a way that feels safe, accessible, and effective.
This one-day training will teach you how to thoughtfully adapt these traditionally adult practices into developmentally appropriate, engaging, and trauma-informed experiences for kids and teens.

-

Why Yin & Restorative for kids?
Unlike more active forms of yoga, Yin and restorative practices slow everything down. They help children:
-
Settle their nervous systems
-
Build body awareness and emotional insight
-
Develop patience and tolerance for stillness
-
Experience deep rest in a safe, supported way
These are skills many kids don’t naturally get—but deeply need.
