In this playful yet relaxing and informative workshop, we will:
~ Explore how mindfulness and meditation can lead to improved experience of everyday living, including responding to stress (including the stuff that shows up around the holidays!), positive thinking, creativity, productivity and joy;
~ Learn research-based methods to practice peace of mind, presence, non-attachment and compassion in any circumstance.
~ Discuss how our bodies and brains work in relationship to the evidence of the benefits of practicing being present.
~ Discover our own preferred styles, techniques, and other factors toward creating a personalized practice toward being peacefully present.
This continuing education workshop is perfect for teachers, parents, yogis and other leaders. This course is led by Beth Reese, PhD, E-RYT, RCYT, YACEP, founder of Yogiños: Yoga for Youth®, a freelance writer, and host of The OHMazing® Way podcast.
